Let me share one client’s Endometriosis story …..

My client came to see me as she was in pain. She had realised that she needed help with diet to help manage endometriosis. She was feeling very overwhelmed. She had heard that diet changes could make a difference to endo pain. She felt overwhelmed by all the information on the internet.

Which diet?

  • The ‘endo diet?
  • The Fodmap or
  • The elimination diet’?

She didn’t know where to start.

We focused on small changes at first. Working on improving her breakfast to include anti-inflammatory foods. Foods that nourished her body and gave her energy to start the day.

The thing about working with a naturopath is that they (me) is there to guide you……..and answer your questions. This is how I work in both my 1:1 consultations and in my new 6 week Online Endo Program. We go deeper than just food changes. But the real change happens on a day to day basis. By helping to navigate what to eat meal by meal……over time these changes create results.

I’m here to answer these questions…..just like with my client.

Things like:

‘Denise, Is quinoa ok to eat for breakfast?”

‘Can I eat tomatoes? Are they inflammatory?’

‘Whats the best thing to eat when I’m out to dinner to avoid the bloating?’

‘If I want a treat once a month at breakfast at a café, can I have pancakes? Which ones are gluten free?’

‘Which is the best gluten free bread?’

After a few months…

After a few months, she has a big collection of recipes she can use. These are gluten free, dairy free, sugar free and yummy. Foods that are anti-inflammatory and support and nourish her body.  She has had a reduction in her pain levels, less bloating and increased energy. She is on the path to surviving with endo rather than merely surviving.
